Jaclynn fell in love with working with children over a decade ago. Prior to becoming a doula, she cared for infants in the classroom, volunteered in her local NICU, and returned to school to earn her bachelor’s in nursing. Her goal is to create a supportive and loving environment for her families so they can feel confident and thrive. The postpartum period is an important transitional time that she enjoys being able to make it something for parents to enjoy and not just simply survive. She is grateful for the opportunity to build trusting relationships with families and their newborns. Her favorite aspect of doula work is watching the connection grow between newborns and their parents, it’s magic.
